New Communities Integration Fund

The Minister of State with special responsibility for Equality, Immigration & Integration has announced the new Communities Integration Fund.

The Minister of State with special responsibility for Equality, Immigration & Integration has announced that applications can now be made under the new Communities Integration Fund.

The Fund will provide grants to assist communities in playing a practical role in supporting integration activities at a local level.

Grants will be made available to local community based groups to promote integration in their area e.g. sporting organisations, voluntary and community groups, faith-based groups and cultural organisations.

This funding is intended to support initiatives (including once-off), with particular emphasis on local and regional effects and may involve more than one organisation.
